Athens, Kynosarges, Vourvachi 17 and Kokkini 1 (O.T. 54048). Charalabia Charami (Γ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports on the discovery of a retaining wall and walls of a large Roman building (Figs. 1, 2). The latter could have been the Hadrianic Gymnasium of Kynosarges (see references above).
In addition, another part of the Late Roman cemetery was excavated (see references above). Secondary inhumations were found as well as 11 late 6th – early 7th c. A.D. pots. Amongst the finds is a late 5th c. A.D., intact, gouged oinochoe.
