Kamilari (Phaistos) (Phasomytaki property). I. Antonakaki (ΚΓ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports the discovery of a poorly preserved LM IIIA building on the west slope of the hill that has the well-known tholos-tomb on its summit. The building had paved floors: two long spaces on the south side are interpreted as the footings of a staircase which had pithoi set beneath it. Finds included kylikes, a brazier, a bronze dagger and two stone vases. Surface finds indicate further buildings and the excavators suggest that a settlement was connected to the tholos tomb.
