Description
Polyrrhenia. S. Markoulaki (ΚΕ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports that the discovery of a pit and a cist grave at Agadika Alonia likely indicates the location of the city’s Early Hellenistic cemetery. Three cist graves, each associated with a transport amphora, were found on Galouba Street. Surface finds from the eastern part of the city, below the acropolis, included a marble statuette of Kybele and a portion of the relief decoration of the epistyle of a temple.
