Same, 6 Zakynthou Street (property of G. Michalitsi). D. Rigakou (6th EBA) reports the discovery of Late Roman and Early Christian structures, probably used for commercial purposes or manufacturing. Ten rooms were defined by 29 walls which incorporated much stone in secondary usage. Two rooms had floors of red clay, with in one case a chess board cut into it, with alternating squares of red and grey clay. Two terracotta water pipes where found at a deeper level. A thick destruction deposit covered all the area. Finds included a large quantity of pottery, glass and metal items, and 844 bronze coins.
