Report
Angelokastro, Stamna. The ΛΣτ’ ΕΠΚΑ reports the discovery of an extensive Mycenaean (LH IIIA-B) settlement on a plateau on top of a hill on the bank of the Acheloos river, between the modern villages of Angelokastro and Stamna. While few architectural remains are preserved, the presence of potter’s kilns and the large quantity of pottery found (Fig. 1) indicate a significant site.
